Yep, they're out. My dealer got three Blazers. The RS trim which I bought, a Premier trim, and a base 1LT.

My Blazer has the Enhanced Convenience and Driver Confidence II and Sun and Wheel packages. It was stickered a couple hundred bucks past the $51K mark.

Congrats! Test drove one exactly like that last week. Definitely looking into that being my next vehicle purchase.

i'm a bit surprised by MSRP, not sure i should be but damn, mid 40's MSRP.
That is correct, the RS comes with the 3.6L V6 LGX -- same engine that's in the six cylinder Camaro and a bunch of other GM models. The base Blazer comes with a 2.5L 4 cylinder. Both engines are mated to a nine speed automatic transmission.

As I posted, my Blazer was stickered a few hundred bucks north of $51K.

As of recent, I can’t help to think that, with the Blazer having so many blatant, direct cues from Camaro, maybe GM did this very purposely... Like to either guage a “Camaro” SUV or pre-condition to what may come next.

Just my thoughts “out loud”.

Anyway...

Comments on the vehicle’s ride? How are you liking it? Likes/dislikes?

The Blazer has a high door line just like the Camaro. If blindfolded, I would have a hard time distinguishing the interior between the Blazer and my ZL1.

My wife made the comment that it has a really nice ride, and I have to agree. The nine speed transmission is something special. It shifts fast and smooth.

My Blazer is AWD. It has the option to switch between 2 and 4 wheel drive via a selector knob. I traded in a 2014 AWD Acadia and I disliked not being able to take it out of AWD.

My Blazer even comes with a "sport" mode. You can manually shift the transmission if you want.

My biggest disappointment so far is the lack of powered fold-in side mirrors. The mirrors fold-jn but you have to do it manually. I think it they should be power fold on a vehicle of this price.

I like the look of the new Blazer but my very nicely optioned 4wd Silverado z71 msrp was 49k. you can get a loaded Jeep grand cherokee V8 trailhawk for $50k msrp. the blazer should have a V8 to be in that price range.

Full 1LE suspension, with BMR adjustable sway bars and links, GM aluminum cradle bushings, Hurst shifter with lighter reverse spring, TWM shifter knob, Tick level 1 transmission. I should have bought a ZL1
