The weather couldn't have been better. It was -2K but our track is proven slow. We tested at our track, then drove to Cecil and went a tenth or two faster in much worse air and then drove home and tested again to verify the results.

But mod wise there is so much left in this car it is silly.

So basically, the manual cars aren't much slower if at all than the A8 cars, just it's only until now that someone has actually put some effort into going fast in a stick car.

Hahahahaha, it is a rental. The timing shack is closed. You have to go up to the tower and ask for a print out of your slip. That's what you get.

Ummm, I would say not. We really didn't put much effort into this build actually. But I would lay dollars to doughnuts that an equally modded A8 car would have been a little quicker yesterday. But you do raise a good point. A8 cars do normally 60ft better and shift faster. But you would have to average out the time it takes to make 4 shifts in an A8 vs the 3 shifts in an M6. And then balance that out against time in power band and shift recovery rpm.

What ai would really like to do is max out the bolt on mods on this car to where the couple max effort A8 cars are and see what's what.

Truth be told, Sergio is a monster and so is this car. He is well ahead of other cars with is mods in a drag race.

Congratulations On having the first stick in the 10s and good job on the tuning Pray . I’d still put my A8 up against any 6spd bolt car at the track though .

2” headers? Like to see ported MSD and ported 95mm would do on m6. 26” drag pack for a little more rpm too.

Amazing time!

I am not sure on the header size. They were on the car when I got my hands on it.

But I agree with your plan. I would add weight reduction, drag brakes front and rear, 15" drag pack with 26" rear, ram air. Possibly a 2 step.
