Called the dealer they said bring it in and on the way it started to act like it was running a 3500 stall converter every time I took off and if wanted to get up to 40 MPH it was running about 3000 RPM and felt like it was stuck in 3rd gear. It would not let me manual shift either. Dealer says I should here from them by Friday to let me know what is going on and the fix. This is starting to get real frustrating, they need to fix the damn thing and quit putting a band aid on it.

When I here something I will let you know,

Now back to you regularly scheduled programming.
Yeah, hate to hear that. Good luck, keep is posted.

Not sure how I am lucky here but I had the issue once, got the flush and no further issue. Keeping my fingers crossed for a permanent fix.

Hopefully they will have a fix but at this point I would not be surprised if there is damage to transmission after yesterday. I was watching the tranny temp on the way to the dealership and it was only reading a little over 100 degrees, I am pretty sure one of the codes was for a temp switch.

It seams to be hit or miss on whether you get lucky and it is a one time thing, I am unfortunately not one of the lucky ones. I hope yours is a permanent fix and you have no other issues.

Flushing twice seems odd they usually replace the torque converter if the flush doesn't work the first time. When it happened to me the flush did nothing to help from the beginning but due to procedure I had to drive 250 miles or something before they could change the torque converter. After that I've had no issues and it has been ~8k miles since the converter change. Considering the problem originated with only 400 miles on the car I'm hoping I don't get it again.

Looks like nobody else here responded, sorry I haven't been attentive. Good if they are solid.

I wouldnt say it would look BAD, but it would take away from the subtleness of the existing stripes in my opinion.

I tend to agree with you, but I would take vinyl off before I would add it. If my car wasn't an H50, it would have no vinyl. I like clean look.

9200 here. I had the issue at 7600, and the flush made a noticeable improvement in the overall feel.
I've heard that GM has additional information on this to be released soon. I think Adam posted more about it on Fb.

There are several that I have already asked, Xportparts.com, GMparts.com, but I would like to know of some more to be able to contrast.
Thank you
We ship all our parts to Texas there we have a container each month going to Europe.

Perfecto Soleil.
Can you indicate the procedure to do it, shipping costs and how and where to pick it up in Europe / Spain?
Thank you

I’ve shared the info both there and here. Nothing new outside my most recent posts.

The original process was flush. Drive 250 miles. If issue persists. Repeat.

After flushing 3 times if the issue came back direction was to replace the torque converter. GM halted this direction. Some dealers found ways around it. But the new method from what little has been released appears to be a totally new flush and fluid method.

I will post the full new process/TSB as soon as I can.
