I'm 62 now and have had issues in my lumbar for years. Recently approved for disability after a long process. My SS vert is my fun car but my DD is a Toy minivan which I refuse to give up. My son is driving my 2004 Silverado crew cab.

Yeah, these aren't easy cars to get out of!

A few years ago I crushed my shoulder mt biking and had to temporarily trade my car for my parent's SUV to make it easier to get in and out and I also couldn't use a manual trans easily.

My best rec is to find a good PT and work out at least every other day. Hot yoga is also a good idea. The body can do amazing things to recover and heal, but it takes effort... sometimes a lot of effort!

The wife is having hip and knee issues getting in/out of her 5th gen and wants to add a Jeep at some point to make it easier for herself. I'm creaking a bit getting out of the '17 myself. I'm going to cling as long as I can.

If you are a car guy, do not get a Jeep!
An older friend bought a Nissan Rouge and it is very nice. I see them everywhere!

I had planned on getting a Corvette convertible but that is out of the question now.

I deal with the fleet guy at my Chevy dealer and they gave me 30K for the car plus a I got a $750 lease loyalty bonus (I lease my car for my company) and walked away owing $250 on it on black Friday.

I picked up a 2019 Caddy XT4 AWD. I can get in and out easily and drive on trips better than any other car we own. I'm pretty happy with it after 1K miles.

I have 5th gen rims and snows to sell.

Here's a quick photo album.

Siatica is a binch. I had it for about a year once. I went to a therapist who did acupuncture and gave me some exercises to get rid of it. No issues at all now.

Remember y’all, 5 gen wheels don’t fit on 6 gen. The offset is off. Get it?
