2018 zl1 clutch

I bought a 2018 zl1 m6 brand new with 11 miles on it. Now I have 1400 miles. Sorry if this had been covered. My neighbor, who has the same year but 25,000 miles says his clutch is softer. He thinks somethings wrong with mine. I don’t mind it but am wondering if it will get softer as it wears. A mechanic I know told me I might have a heavier duty clutch. Any feedback would be appreciated. Also, I LOVE THIS FRICKEN CAR!!!

Maybe his feels softer after having put 25000 miles on his? Only real way to even know the truth would be to open up the trans and see what the clutch is.

Thanks. I accidentally posted the question twice. Trying to figure out how to delete the duplicate.

my clutch gradually became easier to press after a few thousand miles, and also engaged higher up.
