I read through the whole thread and I guess I missed what the actual color of these markers are now? Do they match the GM smoked tails? Are they on the darker or lighter side?

This is what they look like in the shade and the sun. I'd say they are a pretty close match to the GM tail lights

Darker now but still match well with the GM tails.

Have the pesky cast mark but only one that knows it's there. I like new shading. May have to "upgrade".

I installed these and the zl1addons rock guards at the same time

Both look amazing and were easy to install.
