Congrats, my son's 17 RS, V6, A8, will absolutely run off and leave my 79 Corvette L48, 350 V8 that I have owned since '87. It would also have destroyed my 72 Chevelle SS350 4bbl, 75 Rally Sport Camaro (350 4bbl), 79 Z28 (first new car LM1- 350) and my '84 Monte Carlo SS (305 4bbl H.O.). The only car I had quicker might have been my '70 Chevelle SS396/350 HP, 4 sp. Enjoy your 335 net horsepower A8, V6! It's amazing the Camaros being built today. They have it all! PS: Almost forgot my 64 Malibu SS vert (283 Powerglide) and 72 Malibu 350 2bbl! All good Chevys in their day!

The car came tinted, I think at 35%. Will this be enough to protect my interior from UV sun damage or should I go darker? I’m happy with the way it looks and I’m not sure I’d want it much darker for night driving but I definitely want to protect the interior, especially the leather. |

I would go with the tinted LED marker lights from JWM for 89.00 for all 4 would look slick,,

Orangeman, check your state Ohio’s tint laws and make sure it’s legal before considering going darker! BTW nice looking Camaro!! Congratulations and welcome to the 6 gen crowd.

Congratulations! I just picked up my Camaro the day after Christmas, it still has less than 100 miles on it!
I ALMOST bought a 2019 2LT RS over my 18 2SS...I ended up getting such a deal on the SS I went for it! But I have to say, I thought the V6 sounded awesome and packed a great punch! Enjoy the drive back...i'm itching to drive mine some more.  Happy New Year! |

Well put. As I have stated our son's 335 hp V6 will outperform all but one of the muscle/sports coupes I have owned since 1970. Do you think he was ready for a SS or more at 16? Some people just don't get it.

looks good in all black, v6 got power when you get on the interstate from the ramp doing 30 put your foot on the floor till you hit 65, i did takes off lie a bat outta hell make sure nobody is around first.
