Congrats OP! I bought my new 2.0T in Aug. My dream was to buy an SS but couldn't afford it this time around. There's nothing like the growl from a V8.
Enjoy the car and drive it proudly. It's a piece of Americana, no matter what motor is in it.

And don't worry about the few big displacement guys that will give you flack. My tiny 2.0 makes almost 200ft/lb per liter on what amounts to pulling up to a different fuel pump. Your car can be what you want, if you want it.
