This is the standard bracket for the E2-X and E2-X Ultra (tight fit, but it is a better location than the strut tower location as that is near the exhaust. This allows you to reach the drain valve also.

For the V8 SS non supercharged, this is the correct bracket showing the mount location as well:

We can do a modified 2 piece bracket as some prefer:

just let us know if there is enough demand.

Thanks!!

Ok, so the bracket in the top three pictures is different than the one for the SS? This is a bit confusing.

I’m interested in the bracket that will allow your catch can to be mounted near the radiator on a ZL1.

Make that, and I can tell your three are at least 5 people on this forum that would buy it. Not to mention people that purchase your catch can Im the future.

Some of us want to install a supercharger cooler reservoir in the same place your catch can currently installs on the Zl1 ( on top of the manifolds).

Make this thing and you’ll have my money.

Yes, specify the ZL1 bent long L bracket for mounting near the radiator as in the first 2 pictures and you should be fine.

Elite Catch Can

I ordered the Elite 2 catch can yesterday from JDP with the black braided lines, so I hope it includes the bracket so I can mount the can at the radiator location! Pulled the top blower cover off tonight so I can paint it. Didn't see much oil at all but I also don't have that many miles on the car.

I don't think it will include it. It seems like Elite Engineering is offering this bracket as an added option.

Weapon X mentioned in a different thread I started about this that they would also offer this bracket but it seems that they have gotten sidetracked. I messaged them about it A week ago and I still haven't heard back from them.

Ok, I just placed my order. My*order number is:*182271.

I specified in the comments that I wanted the Long bent L bracket to mount the catch can near the radiator on the ZL1 as you suggested.

If you cannot provide me with the bracket, please cancel my order.

Thank you for your attention to this.

Did your catch can come with the updated bracket for mounting near the radiator?

I haven't receive it yet but will let you know when it gets here. I have the supercharger all ready prepped for the install as I'm off for the next few days.

Please, do let me know which bracket they sent you.

Did you request the bent- L shaped bracket like they mentioned in the post at the top of this page?

I know it's relatively easy to take the supercharger cover off.

How hard was it to separate the supercharger from the engine block? I've heard some people say that they have had to wrestle with it to separate the two.

I installed a CC on a friends Z06. The blower is easy to lift. Just make sure that all TB plumbing, vacuum and electrical lines are clear, including the strain reliefs for your injector/coil lines. Slack the tensioner and remove drive belt from the supercharger pulley and use the SC pulley to lift.

If everything is clear, it's an easy lift. Remember that you are only angling the SC enough to access PCV.

I used a rubber mallet and bumped the bottom of the S/C snout. It didn't take much.

You can grab it by the supercharger pulley and not damage it? That s great to know ! Thanks ! Did you have to grind down the new PCV like the feller in the Install video did?

This was going to be my plan, thank you.

I made the video so yes, I did have to grind down the brass PCV nipple.
