Of course it outperforms all the others by a mile in acceleration, stopping, and handling. It also has all the tech you'd expect in a 2018 car and more - how many cars have a HUD and defeatable Rev Match? And it beats the BMW as far as creature comforts. You made the right choice to go Camaro rather than G37. Some Japanese sporty cars are pretty damn nice (Lexus GS F-Sport; Nissan 370Z; Mazda MX-5), and they can make a decent supercar (NSX; GT-R; RC-F), but they don't know the first thing about making a proper muscle car.

I bought mine because after working my ass off since high school, and always making responsible choices (i.e. investing, buying property, saving, etc...), I found myself in a position where I could treat myself. I had just bought a house with a garage as well, so obviously I needed a summer car because now I could store it over the winter. I went with the Camaro because I’ve always been a GM guy, so buying a Ford or Dodge wasn’t going to happen. My dad used to have an 81 Camaro back in the day (nothing fancy, it was a base model), and my uncle still has his 81 Trans Am. The Camaro was a no brainer for me. I’ve always thought that everyone has at least one Camaro or Trans Am story or memory from their family, and this way with me having a Camaro, I can keep that going with the next generation...while having fun in the process haha

I'm set on reliving my past ... In the early 70s I had a Camaro SS 396 , 69 Boss 429 and a 1969 Hemi Roadrunner .. So I got a 2015 GT Mustang .. Then I got the 2018 Camaro 1SS .. In 2 or 3 years I'll buy a Demon red eye .. My bucket list will be done ..

I bought mine because my line of cars looked like this:
1984 Fiero 355 V8 Conversion 2000 S10 4.3 ZQ8 1992 GMC Typhoon 2007 MazdaSpeed 3 2010 Camaro SS 2014 Challenger SRT8 I have a very narrow view of what I want in a car, and few meet it these days. I don't enjoy climbing up into my vehicle. I don't enjoy having to take my life into my hands when I merge into interstate traffic. The only real fun I have in life is driving my cars. I have over 90,000 miles on it as it's daily driven an hour to work (I got it in January 2016) and I'm not quite sure what I'll replace it with, since the new Camaro front end rubs me the wrong way. Maybe a Challenger again. |

I bought my first Camaro in 2009, a 2010 5th gen Camaro 2SS M6 brand new. I loved that car and owned it for 5 years. I modded the hell out of it, mostly bolt-ons and suspension stuff. I did some auto-x and an HPDE. I met some fantastic Camaro enthusiast friends and was very involved in our Camaro club. I had the most fun on 4 wheels that I ever had in my life. What a blast it was!
Alas, after 5 years it was time to sell, so I did. It was a very sad day seeing it loaded up on the truck headed to it's new owner in Florida. I spent that year missing all the good times with my friends and not being behind the wheel. A year went by and I found myself wanting a 6th gen bad but they were simply priced out of my range so I decided until I could find a used one I'd get myself a used Vette. So I bought a beautiful orange C6 Corvette with low miles and an automatic. BIG mistake getting an auto, I hated it! Plus I missed the whole Camaro crowd! That Corvette just wanted to kill me every time I would get aggressive with it, very tail happy. I just couldn't drive spirited with any confidence. So I sold it after a year and a half. Long story short, I started looking for a used 6th gen and finally found one after a few months. A friend of mine from our Camaro club heard that I was looking and offered his '16 SS to me at dealer trade in value. I jumped on it and never looked back! I'm back to modding and having a blast with the car and my Camaro friends. What a joy! |

I told my wife I just wanted to sit in one with the Recaros to see how they compared to the regular seats. The closest 1LE happened to be Krypton Green. It was sitting on the showroom floor. She instantly fell in love with the color. So, just going to sit in it turned into driving it home.

Always had a leaning towards American Muscle and I think the Camaro was the best looking of the bunch. My dream would be a Corvette, however, age, height, and back problems make getting in an out of the Vette a non-starter. Love the looks of my 2017 Camaro and not disappointed.

I buy a new car nearly once a year. I get bored and want something new. Ive owned 15 cars in the last 13 years...
I had my 2017 Z71 Colorado for 14 months and seen the 1LE on chevys website. Thought it looked badass. Bought it sight unseen had it delivered to my local dealer after sitting on another dealers showroom floor for a few months. Glad I did cause I absolutley love this car and hope I never sell it lol |
