Hi all,
The car purchasing websites say that the best time of the year to get a deal is the week between Christmas and New Year’s. I’m shopping for the lowest price 1SS I can find. I found a black one near me for $35061 That’s their Internet price. Any advice or can anybody tell me the best deal they have found. Stick or auto I’m flexible.

I hate to break your bubble, but I highly doubt you'll find anything amazing on 2019s at the moment. That internet price is pumped full of rebates you probably dont qualify for. Now for 2018s they are offering employee pricing at the moment which is an amazing deal. Also the whole end of the year thing is bull crap.

I’m not totally against a 2018, and there’s a lot of 2018 to choose from. But I’m an avid reader of all these forms and I thought I’d be able to get a much better deal on a 2019 because everybody hates them they’re ugly they’re not selling and Chevrolet is re-designing them the 2018 is awesome and everybody loves it so I thought I’d be kind of tough to negotiate on one of those. But I’m totally open to a 2018.

I'm gonna dispel some of those.

GM has not said anything about the redesign.

Not everyone hates the 19 refresh, including myself.

Dealers would rather part with an 18 than a 19.

I like the 19 and for autos 10 speed is better

If you're not in a hurry to buy one then why not wait and see, I waited for almost 6 months looking for right the deal, I'm going out later to seal the deal for 2ss at 41k with everything that I wanted stickered at 50k. But 2018 for sure you'll get one at that price.

Thanks for the advice, no I’m not in any hurry at all, was just reading that you can get a great deal during this last week of the year so thought I might look into it. But I’m willing to wait if the best deals are yet to come. Actually people are talking about the general offering a base model V-8 possibly an RS for 2020 I may wait and just order that only six months away.
