ARH full system question
I have a pretty simple question about an ARH full system (no Cats) I am in the process of installing. I removed the stock exhaust and there are 4 different sensors I removed. I am installing an AEM wideband AFR gauge as well. My question is what needs to be connected back into the new catless ARH system? I would have thought something would have came with the system that discusses this but there wasn't...
any input is greatly appreciated!

The o2 sensors closest to the engine need to stay. You can put your AEM A/F sensor in the secondary bung. Either side.

Thanks for the reply! I did ask my tuner and he said to hook the 4 existing sensors up and install another bung for the A/F sensor... I like your idea better! This headers have bungs as well as the exhaust pipe... I was told by another person that I didnt need the rear ones as well... :/

You're going to want your wideband sensor in the header for the most accurate reading. Approx 18"-24" from the cylinder head.

OK, so my headers have bungs on them already I can use one of those for the A/F sensor. Now there are 2 more bungs located just before the X pipe, Can I use them for the sensors that were before my cats? Now what about the 2 sensors that were after the cats? Do i need them to be connected?? I would rather not have to weld anymore bungs if I dont need too!

I am running cats on mine so i had to weld an extra bung in the header. Since you dont have cats i dont see why you would need them. The sensors closest to the engine absolutely need to stay there. That is what the PCM is looking at. Your car will not see your wideband it is just used for tuning or visually monitoring it. As far as the distance from the head i still would have used the rear o2 bungs if i could i just dont think it would have made that much of a difference so its up to you. I also dont permanently use my wideband, just for tuning.

OP just leave the rear O2 unplugged, tape up the ends of the harness and tie them out of the way. Leave the bung port plugs in and have another bung drilled and welded up front for the WB O2 sensor.

yes you need to put the factory front 2 censors in the front 2 holes and have a extra bung welded in like EGOKLR said. you might as well just install the rear 2 censors and plug them in. The will get turned off in the tune. That way you dont have to worry about anything getting in the plugs.
