Smells like a small displacement (twin) turbo V8 to me.
DOHC??? DCT??? I can't wait to see what Chevy has in store for the C8!

Definitely sounds like an A-10 shifting.

Its not, its a DCT just like the one in the C7R race car. The car on the track is a C8R, not the street version as the new Mid Engine C8 thats coming to replace the C7
There is a good load of info on the the up coming C8. Twin turbo 4.2 and a twin turbo 5.5 both V8's DOHC engines. The Base C8 will be a hotter 520 horse LT1. Word is DCT across the board , no manual. |

I would imagine the DCT is true. I heard it's difficult to have a converter on Mid-Engine builds.

That definitely sounds like a DCT. I have watched a video of the C8 that sounds like an A10, but it was just cruising, so they could have the shifts softened up for that type of driving, and makes it sound like an A8 or A10. Can't wait to see the specs of this car.
