Air suspension wiring question
Been a while since I’ve posted on camaro6 so hello again!
Long story short, I am putting bags on my Camaro. I’m going to be doing the install myself and I’ve even made a custom mounting bracket to hang the tank from the roof of the trunk. Anyways the part I need assistance with is figuring out a 12v ignition source. Preferably in the trunk area so I don’t have to run the line all the way to the front of the car. Any ideas? PS Idk what I’m doing so wish me luck

The battery isn't a 12 volt ignition source. It's a 12 volt constant source.

It’s for the ECU only so I’m assuming less than 10. The compressors have their own 90 amp fuse to the battery.

Use an add-a-circuit fuse tap in the rear fuse box. Should be easy to find a circuit that's only hot when car is running (look at fuse map in owners manual).
If you're worried that what you're feeding pulls too much current for the circuit you tap, then feed the coil side of an automotive relay and power it directly from the battery through the relay contacts. |
