If was going to use the eTrac I'd cut it and have the tires setting on the trailer floor and not on the eTrac. Just have it in front and back of the tire. Don't want my slicks and skinnies riding 500 miles on the eTrac. Just my opinion.

You would really have to tow the car a few times to get exact spots and wouldn't be able to adjust loads at all. The contact patch of the tire is pretty small and the e-track needs to be very close. I'm thinking it would be much more solid all in one piece. Tires get changed out pretty often as well.

Ideally, the e-track is recessed so it's flush with the surface, and that's usually what you get when the trailer is built with it.

My one regret with my trailer was not ordering e-track when I had it built.

I use the trailer for customer vehicles as well as my own. Needed something that dropped low enough to the ground and I could use easily by myself. The remote makes loading and unloading really easy. If it was only used for my own car I would've cut the e-track.

Mike do you know how wide the trailer needs to be for the 1lE? looking at one with 82 inches wide right now?

This would be fine if the 1LE was the only thing that rode on the trailer, but the other garage queen (RX7) sometimes is on it also.

Most trailers are ~83" and 1LE wouldn't be any wider than a regular Z so I'm thinking that would be fine however I haven't had mine on a trailer yet. I rent one each year that is 83 and had my 17 ZL1 on it just fine.

Hope to buy something next spring.

ICT I agree that if your hauling a couple different rides. I only haul my SS to the drag strip and my enclosed trailer hauls it just fine without the eTrac, although I might consider some eTrac for the walls of the trailer as it really gives it a clean look.

From Earlier This Month Heading To VIR

Definitely not the cheapest, but works like charm with plenty of room and no ramps needed. Just drive in normal and call it a day.

GMC Sierra 6.2 had no issues.

This is what I am looking for. Nice setup! My 6.2 is a couple years older than yours though, lol!

How do you tie it down in the front?
