AWE Axleback
Trying to find out whether the AWE track axleback would actually be louder than factory exhaust on my 1LE in track mode. Haven't seen any videos of the track axleback but according to the website it should be the loudest setup except for the catback with the link pipes. Really interested in the axleback just want to be sure the juice is worth the squeeze especially for the price. Thanks in advance for any information.

Yes it will absolutely be louder than the factory exhaust and almost too loud with catless headers. One thing to mention though is there will be some drone since there is no muffler on the track version.

I've never been one to worry about too loud.
 Just not sure if a "muffler delete" would actually be much louder.

I'd check to see if they are still doing their sale and if they are I'd jump on it. If you really want more sound delete the secondary cats as well. That should keep you safe warranty wise if your worried about keeping your warranty and give you the sound your looking for.

Forgot about secondary cat delete. Usually headers are the first mod to go on my cars but since this one is brand new I have been holding off on that for a little while. Thanks for your input it is much appreciated.

When I had just an axle back, my car was substantial louder in each gear than with the factory NPP. You are going to hear a difference, I guarantee it.

Well pulled the trigger on the track axleback. I guess we shall see if I made the right decision. Will update with pics and video when I get it.

Wish they did give you more power, I'd buy the Borla ATAK axleback for sure.

It can drone all it wants. Doesn't bother me. Just downshift and smash the loud pedal and let her sing!!!
