LOL- very funny!

Sorry I haven't made it out to the top secret high speed testing grounds yet... the wife was kinda hot under the collar with all the time I spent in the garage this weekend! And then there's work to attend to...

The car is running great- no CEL's, no bells. Throttle response is sharp and its running smoothly. No discernible loss in low RPM response- even at just 1500 RPM cruising in 4th, a dab on the gas and she'll jump to that open spot in traffic. IOW, still a torque monster.

I figured it wouldn't hurt to give the ECM a few miles to figure this change out, and a trip to the "open road" is forthcoming.

My wife really holds a grudge! Haven't been able to get outta town yet to really open it up.

But I've driven in traffic enuff to say for sure there is no "seat of the pants" loss in bottom end response. Cold start up seems a bit more emphatic (just as loud- thank goodness for Stealth mode in the morning) and the Rev Match option seems more "eager" too (God- I love it!)

I have goosed it up a little going to work (1st to 2nd gear) and it is pulling hard and running smooth but I go in at 5am- which is good cause there's no traffic, but its also bad because its very quiet and I don't want to attract too much attention. I've used up more than my fair share of "warnings" for a life time since I got this car. But its as if the police like the car so much they can't bring themselves to give me a ticket!

OK, OK... stop with the bad habits Lucky!

A fellow C6 member is buying my OE mani and I'm pretty sure there is gonna be a long detour to the UPS Store.

I've got the day off on Weds.

I drove a while with: CA front cat deletes, msd, 103mm TB, and stock box, stock box cut, stock box cut with green filter, Mishimoto CAI, CAI CAI, stock tune except I turned off the rear 02. IMO, the only workable combo was stock box cut with green filter... The CAI CAI and the Misihimoto, don't work and can't read the air flow thru the MAF correctly. Never got a RotoFab and ended up tuning it with a new style MAF housing Mishimoto.

I've got the 2nd cat delete Borla X-pipe with the primary cat still in place. GM's cai (correctly installed) with their factory reflash and the NPP exhaust. There is also Mishimoto's catch can but no cai of their's.

I've now added the MSD 2700 and the 95mm TB. What are you telling me wise one?

Would I be correct in assuming when you go with the 95mm or ported stock TB the gm cai TB adapter plate is no longer usable? Or needed?

No plate needed for the 95mm- it would just restrict the flow you just paid for.

I bolted the 95 directly to the MSD with just a gasket in between.

CAI CAI (pre reflash) or Mishimoto CAI (both styles) did not yield power or the power curve was hinky with stock tune. Cut factory box with green filter worked great...no issues at all and noticeable power. And please dyno racers, the MSD wtih 103mm TB adds noticeable power with stock tune.

Any data on the 95mm tb and msd combined with a flashed/recalibrated gm cai?
