Quick question about tsp headers.

Will it void my warranty. I know I sound like a total noob lol.

Long tube headers will require a tune at which point the warranty is out the window!

Coming from someone that has never installed a set of headers and only goes on what speed shop says!

I have installed Kooks, Borla, and TSP on the 6 gen and kooks on the 5 gen.. The TSP's are every bit as good as quality as others.. Thick flanges, No clearance issues, thick gauge tubing. Every set I have seen the the second plug wire on drivers side touches the boot. Every set I have seen runs a 1/4 inch if not closer the starter or shield, and about 90% of them have a issue that can be fixed with a different headed bolt on the steering shaft.

Don't go by a hear say and until you actually installed a few sets.

Smart on TSP's part, and this has zero to do with quality of their product.

TSP is the only company I have had this issue with buying parts since 1987, guess they don't need my business & there are a huge amount of competitors out there.

Exactly! Once the cars computer has been changed GM will know and will void the factory warranty. If you did go with a set of ARH you may want to call your local dealership just to check first. Even though GM prefers them doesn't mean the dealership can't void it out.

Cheers,

Kayla L.

Exactly... Even purchasing through GM your warranty will be voided once you tune whether the dealer or anyone else does it.
