Here's a short video I made, camera is at a bad angle I know but you can get the picture of it showing how it looks while turning and pushing brakes. These are now off my car and awaiting return slip, going to buy the helix no more cheap junk. I can almost live with the turn signals blinking with the brake light but it should absolutely not happen when your turn signal is already on.

That is also my main issue with them is the opposite turn signal flashing when you already have the other one on. He updated their website with the green car showing that they do this because I pointed out to them that nowhere on their website does it show that these do this and they agreed. They said I could send mine back too but I’m waiting to hear if there are 2 versions as it seems there are. I would like to trade for a version that doesn’t do this because other than this issue they look so good !

He did update his site with a video but it doesn't show that the opposite turn signal flashes when you hit the brakes while having a turn signal on. It only shows that both flash when you hit the brakes. Some people might see that thinking that feature is disable when you already have a blinker on, which it should be. Also he doesn't show that the brake light on the side flashing is disabled during the duration of the blinker flashing.

Does anyone have video proof of their tail lights NOT flashing the hazard lights when engaging the brakes?

Well I should have my tail lights according to the DHL website by Friday, I want to see if these lights are really worth it with all these little issues, I mean if they don't live up to the hype then I may consider the Helix.

What hype? And there’s 1 issue. They’re tail lights at the end of the day, if you don’t like them return them or sell them.

You already know how the tail lights function, imo there is more than just "one" problem as ecko04 says but I wouldn't even install them if you don't like the issues. Just return them box unopened, less hassle. With that said I was able to get a full refund from next gen speed even with mine open. I would have never open/install them if I knew of the issue's and one of my brake lights were already broken. Ended up just picking up a set of OEM dark GM tail lights honestly after having both install, they look much better as they match my dark 3rd brake light.

Finally got a set of Vland LED smoked tail lights delivered, But two issues. Number 1 same as the others recently. The Turn signal gives a flash as brake lights come on. Second issue after about 3 to 4 flashes the turn signals go into hyper flashing on both sides. Interestingly 4 ways seem fine. Either way not going to f&*%k with it. I filed for a return thru Ebay.

I got mine delivered today but wont be able to do anything till after the 15th (Work 12 hrs a day) unless I do one at a time but have a funny feeling that they may go back unless I can find someone who will fix them up right.

Yeah we talked about this back in August lol. You probably need the Gen5Diy non-RS to RS tail light harness to prevent the hyperflashing. I doubt that would fix the other issue though since the brake lights are controlled separately from the turn signals.

Wow I am glad I saw this thread. I was planning on picking up a set of these in the near future but that turn signal and brake issue is just stupid. Who in their right might would actually design them to work like that? I'll be doing the OEM dark tail lights instead.

Each light has a 7.5 ohm 50 watt load resistor unsure if its wired to brake lights or turn signals, I do have the 1lt with non LED lights. I could probably fix it but not going to risk it. Sent vendor video just waiting for RMA
