MBRP on an A8 w/NPP my experience
So take this for what it is worth. I kept reading this kit was only for a M6 blah blah blah. I have read a lot of stuff that just had me wondering. So I found the system for $459 and jumped on it. Yesterday I cutout the suitcase in my garage and actually drove the car for 75 miles like that. Annoying to say the least. I take a few calls for work from the car and with no mufflers I knew that was out of the question nor did I plan on it, I had an appointment at the muffler shop today so I went down there with the MBRP kit in my trunk. LOL They installed it staggering the tips and replaced the CRUSHED piping. I was worried it might be to loud to take calls for work (this is my commuter) NOPE under normal driving conditions it is perfect. A little sound but very vague. You hit the go pedal and it sounds like a raped ape. I think it is the best bank for the buck. I left the rear actuators off and no CEL. I am a happy camper.

An axleback would have no effect on M6 vs A8.
