NM, I see you said you had rail pressure.

fuel pressure was glued to 70lbs and the fuel rail pressure was in the 2800+range. The injector pulse width hit 7.1 on the runs I just did before the belt started slipping too bad. Makes looking at the results pretty tough because it's at 13psi to 5krpms and then slipping drops it to 9-10. Bottom line is, I need to get the smaller belt and give it another shot to see what it shows.
I have to get a smaller belt. I just tried to log some runs and since it's cooler...it's hard. In 4th gear at 50-70mph it just spins the tires. However, I ran one pull up higher and it started off with the boost and then dropped. Smaller belt required before more testing.

At 12psi, on pump e85, my car is completely fine driving on the street with no problems. We are bumping to 14-15psi to see if we can find the end of the fuel system and then we are going to do a race fuel tune for the track. The objective is to have 800+whp so that we can run a 9 second pass with a vert. On the street I will dial it back based on the tires I am running. between 700-750whp (8-12psi).

You don't happen to have an extra 85mm pulley laying around, do you?

Exactly.I like running on e85 where I can run lower boost levels and still have really crazy power. Running on straight pump e85, it's generally been around 70% ethanol. I can run 12psi on that setup with no mixing of fuels... This last test is to see if 14-15psi finds the limit. We do know that with MS109, we will get into the 800's for whp. That would be my "track tune". For the street, I would feel completely comfortable running the 8psi pulley (85mm) and running either 93 or e85. Above that, I would want to run e85 or I would need to add methanol. With this setup, I am very confident we could run 93+Alky and run into the 8's. I just HATE the idea of using Alky injection for octane purposes so I am pushing to stay away from it if possible.

The injector pulse width got up to about 7500 today when I tried a few more runs. Stopped and called it a day. Now it’s time to either lower e% or go straight race fuel. I may actually bag the effort and wait until after winter to keep testing. We won’t get a chance to run at the track anyway and I will just dial back to 8psi for the winter.

That will depend on which pulley I settle on. The car is about to hit the garage for winter and will only be out on really sunny days. I am probably going to install the 85mm pulley for winter because I will still drive it occasionally and I definitely feel like that is the best setup for my current G2's. You figure that pulley put me over 700whp (830HP to the crank). I think that's a nice number. I have been using the 760whp setup (900hp to the crank) for running pump e85 with no mixing and no problems.

1. Were you running on m6 or A8? 2. How much boost were you running? 3. Were you running a custom cam? 4. Did you run with the Maggie or another blower? I think we could have gotten to 800whp with 12 pounds of boost by advancing the timing a couple degrees and by locking the converter early. If you had those results on an M6 that would be the same as 830 whp. We were seeing an additional degree of timing on the street vs the dyno. Thanks in advance for sharing. If I am not seeing the fuel rail pressure or the fuel pressure dropping, I don’t know how the Aux pump could be making any difference.

He had a A8 with custom cam and ECS Novi 1500 blower.

In the A8, I would expect the 830whp at 15psi, but I assume they are running 26degrees of timing or so. I just don’t see how that can be safe given the fuel injector pulse width.
I don’t understand how e70 can get there with the Lt4 injectors. Based on my runs I see the fuel pressure and the rail pressure staying right where they need to be. Maybe e70 with a mix of e85 and MS109 vs my pump e70? If he was running alky too and reduced the need for fuel, that could make sense to me too. I am not going to chase a specific dyno number. My objective was getting the car positioned to be the first vert to run 9’s. But we ran out of time to hit the track...unless we travel. Otherwise, we will wait until next year but with the current setup, I am sure we will get there. Only question is, can we get there with 12psi, or do I need 14?

Sorry guys I was using a dual nozzle Alky Control set up. Vengeance Stage 2 cam, 12 psi with ECS kit (Paxton 1500).

as an aside, since we are talking about HP supported by mods. You all should be talking about uncorrected dyno HP... aka real HP. A SAE or even worst a STP Hp reading can be 40 HP higher.
