That was strike 2. Strike one was that they removed one lug on each wheel to put those lock (anti-theft) lugs on it and didn't torque them.

The only time they will ever work on my car again is if it is warranty or a recall
Agree. I took my car to get the trans oil changed and four wheel alignment as I had new tires with nitrogen. I specifically told them not to adjust the air pressure and do not change the oil. Well, they changed the oil "It was one of your free changes sir, aren't you proud of us?" I caught this as they reset the oil life on the computer. I stopped to check the oil and it was clean and perfectly full. They inflated the tires with air (not nitrogen) to 39. I run 28 cold. So 3500 miles later I am prepping for a road trip and I have the car on raceramps and it took 90 lb/ft of torque to loosen the oil drain plug. Being a cynical genius I figured that I ought to make sure I can get the oil filter off. The filter was so tight that it snapped my oil wrench....... And they lifted the car off the aluminum struts. and yes I have pictures of the struts

Does anyone have the part number for the OW-40 oil filler cap? Also the service bulletin number?

12686472 is OEM part number.

I just bought one from Amazon. It should be here in a couple of days.

I don't think there is a service bulletin for this. Your current oil is fine. This is just better.

Oil Filler Cap

Thanks so much, just ordered it. i was checking "TheGMPartsGuy.com" however the shipping was $8.50 and the cap was $4.99. Is there a specific filter we should also be using?

Just use GM's ACDelco PF64 oil filter. It's the OEM filter for our car.

I did my oil change (at 4200 miles) today to the 0W-40 oil. Now it matches my oil filler cap

OEM 5w30 dexos2
Recommended 0w40 dexos2

Why wouldn’t you follow the recommendation of the engineers who built your car? M1 0-40 D2 is an excellent oil.
