It sounds like there is a damn good chance there will be a production change IMO. We all know its a must thing to do.

Yes indeed, and much better than thinking that the awful SS front refresh is going to survive. Gotta have faith

I'll say this , the Camaro is just a nicer car all around ..
what do you think of the 19 GT?

It seems a performance bargain if you're looking to add a blower to the base for a big HP street car

Who is 'said'?

And I'm guessing Chevrolet is going to retro the new look onto vehicles already sold

If the people want it done ?, if someone bought 2019 SS already, they are probably the few that like the front.

I got a 2018 RS instead of an SS because paying 40% more in operating costs (20% fuel + 20% less mpg) was not worth saving an extra second 0-60. Plus the SS models come with a lot of options I don't need. My RS only has 5 options: RS package, V6, 8 speed auto, sunroof and block heater.

The blind spots can be completely eliminated by setting the side mirrors properly (so that no part of car is visible in them, and using small convex mirrors). Most people can't or won't set their mirrors that way so to them, the Camaro outward visibility is poor.

Chevy needs to repackage their model lines to be more price competitive.
Your numbers are way off. The EPA difference in mpg between a V6 8spd and an SS 8spd are 15% on the combined cycle. Premium gas in Ontario is about 12% more than regular. You coulda had a V8!

I was hoping that the '19 refresh would look better in person. No such luck. It actually looks worse if you can believe it. I saw a new '19 SS in red and I was literally shocked at how bad that front end looked. GM really screwed the pooch on this one.

The problem wasn't just the massive grille and fangs, but also the headlights, which resemble frying pans and thanks the LED's are really hard to miss.

So the original run of 2019 SS’s become collectors items.😂😂

I personally like everything except the hood vent. Regardless these cars are very sexy and a pleasure to drive.

The badge could easily be blacked out and you wouldn't even notice

An all grill front would look good IMO

but I also like the SEMA spec

Agree, don't like the front or the back, my 16 SS is just fine.

I don't have an exact game plan yet, but we're going to make the upper and lower grills in carbon with the center section in carbon, but also make a 2-4 piece version with some paintable edge pieces to reshape the front end.

I have a few generic renditions before we start CAD modeling, so let me know your thoughts and potential buyers have a chance to reshape their front end here!

Be honest love it, hate it? Because we're ready to start designing!

Congratulations, you just got the people that hate the 19 to say something positive about it.

Coming from a current 2019 SS owner, I hope just as much as the people that hate the refresh that Chevy changes production to the SEMA concept. It would likely increase sales, as people have seemed very positive towards the updated refresh. I would be happy, not because I have any expectation of the car gaining value or being a collectors item, but simply because it makes it rare. I love owning rare/uncommon cars, so the quicker Chevy changes the design, the rarer my car is.

I personally like the looks of every modern Camaro. I would be thrilled to be caught driving any of them, but having the privilege of being able to compare the 2019 SS from the pictures to real life makes me cautious to say I don't like the look of a car. That being said, I would rather have a 2019 SS as is, without the SEMA changes. The SEMA car looks great, and maybe when I see one in person I may change my mind and want to update my car, but for now from what I can see, my favorite modern Camaro is the 2019 SS with the black bar and bowtie in the middle.
