Gonna be a long winter :(
Yeah, I feel with you. I did the same today. But do you have MRC? If yes it is not recommend to jack up the car and release the springs and the shocks for so long time. I increased the air pressure to 350psi and park on XPS hard foam boards.

I never heard that about the MRC. Yes, mine has that. What is the damage that occur?

Way it should have come from GM, IMO. Yes it's nice and worth it.

It is not particularly a MRC issue it concerns all springs/shocks. The suspension is designed to absorb the unevenness /bumps from the road. They are under pressure to perform as they should. If you now release the pressure by lifting the car, you create a vacuum in the reserve chamber and the oil flows back into the working chamber. Under normal conditions it is good but if there is no further compression the entire oil flows into the working chamber including some air which is not good. A malfunction could occur when you lowering the car in spring. This is a very rudimentary explanation but I hope it helps a bit. I don’t say that this will happen but it can. The best solution is to fill up the tire and put some foam board under the tires.
