Centri's are also easier on the drivetrain, and you'll have an easier time putting down the power without constantly breaking the tires loose. The detractors are correct in their criticisms about how much power they lose when shifting etc but honestly unless you are competing at a track it doesn't matter. They are a lot of fun, and a cheap and easy to install option.

Laynlo I see and read most all of your posts and you are a very smart cookie .. I see in your Sig that you make over 700 HP with your blower but has run the best of 10s ? Why is that ? At 660 HP I run 9.90s with a procharger HO kit in the FL heat ..Maybe I'm missing something here , Please fill me in if I'm missing something ..

I spun the tires on the 10.03 pass with my worst 60ft time of 1.51 60ft, the day before I was cutting 1.46 60ft times so that was my worst 60ft all weekend, that was driver error for a shitty burnout plus I was the first one out after the junior dragsters and it pushed the front seal out after that so I had some issues that kept me out of the 9's. Then the heat moved in here in the Midwest so had a few things happen and including running part of the year with a couple cylinders that had broken ring lands. Now I'm waiting to put the new motor in. Not sure what your talking about on the 660 hp? I'm assuming your talking about your Mustang. Looks like its working pretty dam good on your stang for sure. Not so sure about the smart cookie thing. I do like peanut butter cookies and if I were 30 lbs lighter it would have been easier to get in the 9s, so thanks for bringing that up, I'll lay off the cookies. HA

PD blower on a M6 car should be easier to launch because you can roll out from a lower rpm and work around the Torque Management bog.

Since you have to tune everything for the boost and such, why not tune out the torque management?

Cool I understand that .. I'm thinking hard about going Whipple this time , my procharger was great but I like to try different things ..The Maggie is cool also and may lean that way because of the warranty deal..

As others have noted, having it tuned by an experienced tuner (ON THIS PLATFORM not just in general) is huge. My original tuner was well known generally for tuning but he shit the bed on this car and I ended up blowing out Cylinder 6 at a track day.

I highly recommend Ted Jannetty even if you are not local, he will remote tune.

Also, I would make sure to change out the front seal for the LS3 version which is more robust.

I just finished my motor and ready to install it starting tomorrow if everything goes ok. I broke 1 and 8 ring lands just from pushing so hard every weekend and 180 plus runs down the track. My tuner is the best around but I should have data logged more and that's really important in getting that info back to the tuner. Ted is a great tuner for sure.

I'm holding out for a ZL1 but assume the 19 SS's with the A10 are going to be a better bet to tune than the A8s?

I have a feeling the stock zl1 wont be enough anyway, I really want a 10 second car

I'm guessing it's locked down for some GM stupid reason? Lol. At least on the M6, they could have gotten rid of it... It can be tuned out on every other GM segments... (Trucks, non sports cars, SUVs, minivans, lol) Even on the L5P Duramax
