Looks like KITT reborn. Awesome memories. Love that intro music.

I seriously can't even imagine a turbocharged truck engine ever finding it's way into a car!

Oh, wait...

There's only two real drivetrain options that would be interesting to me, since making big power with big engines is just not that interesting to me.

An LGW camaro.
An electric camaro. Maybe an electric camaro with a gasoline generator to retain range. They can feel free to remove the rear seats and any sort of extra safety protection surrounding them to reduce weight if needed .

Maybe they just realized that the SS facia was too controversial so they're testing the non SS facia for a mid year update to the SS...

that's what i was going to say 2 days ago, probably 2020 SS, but figured the 2019 apologists would jump in.

I think Chevy's too proud of the LT1 to put it into a budget package. Plus I can't see where that would fit in terms of pricing because any significant cut will put it where the V6 currently is.

I'm not clear on what exactly led to the high MSRP on the 6th gen but pricing and horsepower always go hand in hand, regardless of the car's other bells and whistles.

I think anybody who liked the 2019 SS fascia has one by now. Not sure how many more they will sell. May we well do a mid-year mid-cycle refresh to the refresh.

They'd probably drop the V6 and 2.0T, throw in the 2.7T, and then price the cheaper LT1 option at $33,000-$34,000.
