I found it pretty easy to break the tires loose with my 2016 SS, wet or dry. With my 2018 SS 1LE it's much more difficult to break them loose dry. I haven't driven it much in the rain yet so we'll see.

The e-diff helps a lot in that regard, more so than the wider tires the SS 1LE comes with.

I have a 2SS manual, and this thing loves to haul ass in first gear. It wants to go, and power drift. This car loves to overseer, but is manageable. Usually this is a lot of fun.
However, Sometimes in the city, especially if police are near by, I start out in second. That 6.2 is got plenty of torque. You have to use the clutch, but the car is docile, (when needed), and the engine makes a low rumbling sound. |

That makes sense. It’s not uncommon for me to skip 3rd and go to 4th if I’m goosing it, but I never start in 2nd and I hate the skip shift. It makes no sense at all in a car like the Camaro. It would have been better to either leave it off entirely or failing that make it operational in Touring/Snow Ice only. Even making it skip from 2nd to 4th would have made more sense. If I had a lift I would bypass the damn thing.
