I still think of a refreshed Envoy every time I see one.

However, the Traverse looks good for the segment & they are everywhere.

Yeah my family has had lots of issues with our GM vehicles over the years, and one relative went through every GM issue imaginable as a mechanic at a GM dealership back before the bankruptcy. GM Fails in electronics and electric systems, as well as paint quality and transmission reliability. The EcoTec engines are also garbage after 3-4 years MAX.

Dodge is a mess all around, and the issues are commonly car-to-car and not consistent across the brand.

I hear that Fords have reliability issues with transmissions, engines, and power steering systems, and that their interiors may fall apart out of the blue(oval).

Life lesson: get a Toyota for commuter car needs(seriously, a $25,000 Camry is a really great, reliable, and safe car) and stick with a Camaro as a getaway from the commuter car lol

Averaging 4816 a month for the quarter. Sales are down 25.9% for 18 compared to 17

Those sales are dismal. Considering that is prime driving season for most of the country.

They all have problems with the modern electronics, the Camry is no different. The only difference I see between Honda, Toyota and GM when it comes to reliability is the amount of excuses people make for Honda and Toyota's issues.

I'll stick with my Camaro for commuting to work and for a family sedan, I'd have no qualms picking up a Malibu.

I’m surprised the Camaro numbers haven’t dropped more with the ‘19 refresh. I guess the non-SS models still look pretty good, so that helps. That SS looks like a deliberate act of self sabotage though. Maybe there was too much competition with the Corvette, so they had to make the SS ugly?

Buyers are grabbing up the '18s before the fugly refresh.

I don't think August sales include the refresh, seems like September was the first month they were available. October or November year-over-year comparisons would actually be more reflective, as the high volume dealers here in Atlanta still don't have any '19s listed online (my dealer does have a couple on the lot, went to check/judge it IRL), so I imagine they haven't shown up in large enough numbers to accurately judge consumer reaction.

Are these numbers retail sales of cars moving off dealership lots? Or are they sales from GM to a dealership?

I believe it is deliveries to customers.

I don't know if you are right or wrong, it does seem to me that I see more and more 18's on the road every day. Perhaps I just notice more now that I have one.
