Has anyone removed the front bumper on their ZL1's yet?

I'm trying to replace the fog lamp shroud but having a difficult time finding a teardown =/

I have had my bumper off a couple times now. there are 4 vertical bolts on each side behind the inner fender felt as well as 2 the aim straight up. there is probably 15-20 along the bottom splitter, and the plastic push pins under the hood. the fog light bezels though.....I have never had a piece more difficult to remove....I couldn't get them off! I am going to do the 1LE dive planes so this time I am going to try to use a heat gun to see if it will soften it up any. let us know how ya do please

those bezels are a pain in the azz start at the inside part, You need 2 people one pulling up, the other making sure the tabs are straight may even take needle nose to squeeze the inner part to align perfectly while the other person pulls.. make sure the bezel stays up out of the lock position while you work on the sides next then finally the other side part.

If you take the tire off and fold back the carpet you can take the light, and the bezels off with out removing the front clip but only with needle nose pliers squeezing the tabs as you pull.. don't for get to take the other sliding lock tabs off that are removable 1st.

this is a total over kill its really on there compared to the 5gen that would pop out on there own lol..

reinstalling them will take one palm of your hand against the bezel from the front, and using the palm of the other to hit the bezel to lock it back and this time start on the outside edge.
