How much boost are you seeing with that 3.50" pulley? My built is similar to yours, but I'm on baby boost now with a 4.0" pulley and seeing 12-13psi only.

yeah man I want to do it right and reduce my chances as much as possible of anything breaking. I know shit happens when racing but if I get the good parts hopefully it will decrease the chances.

He said 24lbs in an earlier post. And my buddy is running a 3.55 pulley and getting 25lbs. They are running slightly different set ups though.

Whats involved in getting a TH400 to work with the eLSD and existing ECU and will this be an RPM auto?

Why do you need a 1LE if only straight line racing?

I reached out to RPM motorsports out of Garner, NC and they have a module that plugs into the clutch switch and tricks the ECU into thinking the stock trans is still installed. Only thing you have to install is a $40 motor mount on the stock cross member and if you want your speedometer to work either do a manual to electronic conversion on the TH400 or get the speed off the driveshaft or a wheel speed sensor. The trans is going to be a reverse manual valve body.

So I didn't really buy the 1LE with road course or auto cross type stuff in mind. I fell in love with the way it looked, the options it came with and I honestly just missed driving a manual. I have put a lot of miles on it since I bought it almost two years ago. I never really planned on any of the stuff I am doing now it just kinda went that way. And now i want to be fast and consistent at the track but its also just a really fast street car I enjoy driving and race on the weekends. Its also partially a business venture as I use the build to create content for my youtube channel. But I enjoy the build process as well.

Sixgunsled: Good luck with the build, I've been watching on youtube as you've progressed from stockish to insane power levels. You are one of the few 6th Gen Camaros with good content.

Nobody "needs" a 1LE, or a Camaro at all. There are so many threads where people jump on 1LE owners who don't use their cars in very specific way. It's just a sports car. Do what you want with it.

I question the need for meth to keep the iat’s down. I just don’t know if it really matters. You can program the car to not pull timing no matter the iat’s. I see lots of guys not even running an intercooler.

Back in the day we were running a junkyard 6.0 at 20+psi on e85 with no intercooler. The car was well into the 8’s and the iat sensor was flatlined at something like 260deg. That car had 100’s of runs on it and ran what it should have.

^^ op, I like your plan of port injected e85.

Yeah I'm hoping the port injection plus e85 with the addition of a very large air to air intercooler will allow me to do what I want without the need for meth at all.

The build is progressing well. I have the motor all back together and is ready to mate up to the TH400. Once I get it sat in the car I will start working where the fuel system lines will be going and how I'm going to mount up the new transmission cooler. by the way I should mention if I haven't already that plans have changed. I am no longer going to be doing an F1a-94 procharger. I have an 88/96mm single turbo that will be going on the car now. If you guys want to see the progress or go back and follow the build process then you can.

Get ready to build a 7.50 cert. chassis & that's gonna suck if driving a lot on the street.
Crawling over that door bar gets old, ask me how I know.
