Flowmaster American Thunder / Outlaw w/NPP and Scavenger X pipe

I know everybody is bias on what their setup is, but I highly recommend the flowmaster setup. I also have the secondary cats deleted. The idle sound is so much deeper and it growls. I had the fuse pulled with the stock muffler and secondary cats delete and it just didn't growl like a muscle car should. After adding the flowmaster muffler and scavenger X pipe, I put the 51 fuse back in. The car sounds amazing even with the fuse in as long as your exhaust sound is set to track mode. Also, It doesn't pop and crackle as much. Its just a much deeper note and louder. HAPPY SHOPPING.

+1 as I have the same setup with the secondary cats deleted. Sounds awesome and I get alot of compliments. Still quiet enough in tour mode but in track under full throttle while driving through an underpass is addicting lmao.

I’m looking to buy this setup, probably just the axle back but I would like to hear your setup if you have a video

The flowmaster on my 5th gen had a lot of drone with headers, highflow cats, and a cam. So much that I took it off. My head would want to explode at highway cruising. How is the drone on this car?

It's incredibly difficult to justify the price of most of the aftermarket exhaust systems out there. I remember getting into an exchange with David Borla about that on these forums. $400-700 for just Flowmaster's mid pipe (which is all I'm missing in my exhaust) seems like an absurd cost for a part of the exhaust that'll add absolutely no power--especially for the one without the AFM valves. I hope you like it.

5X what I paid for the aftermarket dual dual from SLP for my Firehawk. What do you do?

I have a 2018 2ss, automatic with dual NPP exhaust. Everything else is stock. The Flowmaster American Thunder axle back is on back-order. I'm waiting for it.
Thanks Jimmy and ss2fast for posting the review. I was concerned about the decel pop getting worse. The Chevy dual NPP exhaust pops on decel.
I'm going to hold on the secondary cat delete until the 3 year, 36 is done.

For those who asked for a sound clip, there are many out there on You Tube. The sound clips do not justify the actual tone. I would suggest finding someone with setup you are interested in and ask to hear it in person. If anyone is in the Southern Maryland area I would be happy to let you listen. For those asking about drone. Yes, there is a small amount at about 1500 RPM in track mode. That is easily eliminated by by either changing the sound mode or just waiting for the AFM to kick in and it goes away. No drone at highway speeds.

not one video online has the full system, only the axle-back. That is why we asked for a video clip.

Hey, how does it sound stealth mode and stealth mode cold start up?

That's when I need valves, esp with LT in my future. Need ability to quiet it down in the neighborhood. Thanks
