Who is that commentary guy? I assume someone at Motor Trend, but who? He does a good job.

I wish everyone who thinks car A is better than car B because Randy put up a time a few tenths faster on some random lap would watch these videos. Turns out even Randy isn't consistently perfect.

That's just me commentating. I know how tough it can be to get good laps, especially with only a few laps. And to your point...exactly! I wish more people understood that the laptime doesn't dictate the end result.

He actually goes into why the laps are inconsistent in the full episode that came out this morning. I am going to do a video on it tonight, feel free to check it out later. Thanks for the comment, I appreciate the feedback. I would love to see another version where they get a full day with each car to see what the car 'can do.' And ummm, I'll totally be that guy if they need someone
