I doubt that. People hated the Mustang refresh when that was unveiled, and it's still selling pretty well. Vocal minorities on the internet don't dictate the future, sales do. It's gonna come down to how well the refresh sells.

I think 2019 total sales will easily beat the 2018 sales . Nice to see them moving away from the softer looks from gen 5 and gen 6 pre update , Can't wait for gen 7 .

^^^This. Plus, all the roar and fury seems to be around the SS. SS represents about 30 - 40% of sales, depending on your zip code. The RS and LT appearance has improved significantly and could very well bring new buyers into the fold.

...but that’s simply not true. Sales are down since the Mustang refresh, and that was much less controversial.
