The Car & Driver road test and comparison with the 2SS and Mustang GT posted a zero to sixty time of 3.9 seconds sunroof and all!!! lol. Maybe it's faster than "reverse mohawk"???

Great thread, if I interpret it correctly the internal headroom is the same with sunroof or without? I'm 6'2" and although I love having a sunroof I want to have max room for a helmet since I plan to track the car. Recently I was able to sit in one with a sunroof and it didn't seem too bad but there isn't much inventory by me yet so I wasn't able to compare side by side. If there isn't an interior room penalty I think I'll go with it.

The car looks better without the sunroof. Just more sportier looking. You can always roll down the window for more air.

I never had a sunroof before so I'm gonna go for it and see how I like it

That comment was the main reason why I got the sunroof in my 1LE. Having driven both with and without sunroof, there is no question that I much preferred to have the natural light coming in through the roof even though I rarely will open the sunroof

The reverse Mohawk is very cool and a subtle bad ass look that makes the car work... I got a vert, and love the open air, and don’t feel as confined....but i am willing to admit it doesn’t look as bad ass as the coupe w/o the sun roof

I have the black and white thing going for me, so while I don't have the reverse mohawk, I have more adding to my storm-trooper black-on-white look with the sunroof...

Sunroof is an absolute must have for me! My Zl1 has it as does my ctsv and even my f150. Z06 has a targa top. I just can't own any of these cars without it. 85% of the time it's open.

Agree, mine is open all the time as long as it's not raining.

I love having a sunroof in my 2SS. Sometimes I just pop the rear edge up, other times some degree of open.

Reverse Mohawk:

I'm 6'; sometimes I regret the sunroof option.

I did not have the sunroof in my '16 2SS. I have it in my '18 ZL1. The sunroof takes up a bit of room and I miss that room when I am putting on a helmet for track or strip. However, I like having the sunroof open and just cruisin'. I think the look is better without the sunroof. That said, the ZL1 looks bad @$$ sunroof or no sunroof.

IMHO, there is no wrong choice.

I'm 6' and love my sunroof. Every vehicle I own it's a must. Had one in both my Gen 5s and now my Gen6.
