turning it up, 1095hp at 22psi

woohoo, car is making some power now. I drove it to and from the dyno, the car drives nice. this is the first time I opened the cut outs which are just 2' behind the turbos.

1095hp, 920tq at 22psi. it did lay over hard at 6700rpm. I think it is floating the valves. I may need better valve springs. I was shooting for 20psi but overshot a little. i probably wont go over 20psi on the track.

I can tell you ~900hp is a pretty good place to be on the streets. a little scary but fun and not blistering the tires at 80mph. I think anything above that will actually be slower and dangerous. now i need to get to the track and work my et down.

graph is a little glitchy.

Damn Parish, that is gonna be a stout ride for sure. You better buy some stock in a tire company soon.

I am still grinning at the measily 650 to the wheels I have now, I know in the back of my head it will turn into a $10k or more rebuild if I have to get into the motor. Then I will push for near or over 800rwhp at that point.

There is a build thr as in my sig if you want all the details.

E85 from the pump, msd intake with port injection, MegaSquirt running all the extra stuff

Yeah, sounds like a nice plan but I am not counting on anything. It does feel good to be working out the issues. My biggest issue is time. My wife and I work opposite shifts to avoid child care so she is always working when the track is open and I only have so many days I can get other people to watch our kid. One thing I know for sure is it takes some time to sort stuff out. That being said I am not in a big hurry. It will get sorted out eventually.

Here is a short vid from last night of a roll race against a stock 5.0 with me running on the spring(6psi)
