For those earlier talking about dod/afm. Just received this reply from tsp...

"I did some more digging in the tune files themselves. And while i cannot guarantee these files are exactly stock or not, it appears that the ZL1 auto and manual and manual trans SS do not have it enabled. Dont take that as written word, but that is what ive found from 4 tune files saved as stock downloaded just now from hptuners tune repository."

That's correct. The SS auto and manual LT1 have the AFM hardware, but only the auto has it enabled in the calibration. I was a little disappointed that the manual LT1 cars didn't have the non-AFM lifter setup.

Two things.

Why is the ZL1 side skirt or at least the GM ground effects side skirt not on the car stock?

I wish the car had a modest but tangible horsepower difference between it and it’s counterparts on every single trim level.

Three things that bother me the most about my car.

1. Transmission is some what good once everything warms up but I still don't like how 2nd and 3rd gear feels. Specially when the Trans is cold 1st thru 3rd gear feels like shit. I wish it had the Vette 7spd, feels a lot better to me.

2. Clutch engagement, just doesn't feel right to me and again I'm comparing it to my friends C7 GS. I shouldn't compare the two but I like the feel of the clutch in the C7.

3. I don't really care about this but I have noticed that the vehicle learns the auto rev match when you use it a lot and when you switch over to manual mode to do your own rev matches it doesn't do it smoothly until you use it for couple of days then its much smoother. Maybe I get rusty using the auto rev match lol.

How long have you had yours? HATED the clutch engagement on mine for a few weeks. I either got used to it or far more likely) a little use broke it in and made it better. I now love it. Brand new I had to rev the motor more than I felt I should have while slipping the clutch to get forward movement. After a few weeks I feel like it broke in and now works like every other manual car Ive driven where if you just gradually release the clutch you will get forward movement, at least on flat ground.

Yeah I think you got used to it. If I don't drive the Camaro for a few weeks I instantly remember how bad the clutch feel is.

Initially when I got in the car, I was like man, this clutch is pretty springy and I think it still holds true. I've only had my car for about 2-3 weeks but definitely notice it but I'm slowly getting used to it.

Like others have said, 2nd and 3rd really just feel like crap when the trans fluid is cold. But once she's warmed up things are better.

The first 1-2 shift of the day feels like I'm fighting the skip shift gate.

You know I wonder if my 1-4 shift feature even works.

I have at least a dozen times since I had the car have the warning on the screen that I was in the 1st to 4th shift zone when i shifted and not once has it forced me into 4th.

Not that I am complaining, but I have never actually been guided to 4th.

Same for me. It hardly ever rejects me shifting to 2nd, despite the message in the cluster...Makes me think, maybe I don't really need to install the skip-shift eliminator after-all.

lol
I had the same experience, message displayed, but 1-2 was shiftable. Then when I least expected, it started shift blocking me at random, seemed to be in traffic when you really want second. Got very annoying and after 3000 miles or so I just got the eliminator. Now just get the message once in a while but never blocked.

Paint is an issue across all manufactures. I was checking out some Lambo Hurican delivery videos on youtube the other day and even those have orange peel in them.

I think these are the two I agree with most.
