I did not install them today. However, I did wire put the fiberglass wrap around the hot components. There’s a 50w 7.5ohm resistor for the backup light and a board for the electrical sequencing that was wrapped in shrink wrap that I didn’t bother with other than putting fiberglass wrap around it.

Alrighty, after a long wait, the revised harness does the trick. No more hyperflashing! If you have LED bulbs in your front turn signals, you still need resistors for those.

No hyperflashing and no lingering reverse light. All is resolved with the new harness. I wrapped mine in finerglass wrap to help with any heat issues. Other than that, with the new harness, they’re plug and play.

Do you know if the new harness also works for us LT/LS non RS/SS owners? Anything extra needed for us?

Everyone should opt for the modified harness regardless of trim.

Right. When you say modified harness do you mean the new VLand harness or the Gen5diy harness? I am just just wondering if I will still need to buy the Gen5diy harness.

Will the harness be pre-installed from the seller?

No longer need the Gen5DIY harness. I removed the reverse light harness that I had. TBH all VLand needed was 1 resistor for the reverse light but they included one on each harness. At any rate, it works.

See post 149 for videos

No installation pics as the install is exactly the same as the GM dark tails install videos available on YouTube.

You can’t view it from your phone using Tapatalk. You need to use the desktop version.

Well I really meant pics of them installed, I just grouped all of them under the same category . Glad to hear that it's the same as that install, super easy process.
