Does this count as cheating?!

Hello all,

I just jumped into the Miata scene
Anyways, long story short, I am a current Camaro ZL1 A10 automatic owner and man is this car an amazing piece of machinery. The things the new A10 tranny can do with the Supercharged LT4 can leave you speechless.
Having said that, I’ve always wanted to learn how to row through gears manually with enthusiasm. I learned how to drive stick over 25 years ago but have only ever owned automatics for one reason or another. So, enter the decision to buy a Miata. After weighing my options I ended up with a very clean 2004 Mazdaspeed with plenty of nice upgrades and all I can say is
This thing is soooo much fun!

Don’t judge me

Heck yeah dude. Miata is an amazing car. It can be lots of fun to drive a lighter car with lower limits. CONGRATULATIONS on getting an awesome one!

Congrats. There's something to be said for driving a low powered car to its limits.

After a few trackdays with the ZLE, I too am going to be getting a Miata..it will not be street legal tho HPDE and WRL or other endurance events with multiple drivers to help split the costs.

Your car looks great BTW congrats!

Miata, s2000, Brz the smaller cars are a blast to drive. You don't ned massive hp to have a good time.
That looks so good with the hardtop...........

Thanks guys! Loving the enthusiastic reception to my Miata.
I actually want to try to get this beauty close to OEM. My idea for this baby is to just enjoy her on the road with the top down. I had a convertible M3 and miss the top down feeling, especially when nice South Florida winters role around.
