You mean like urethane bushings for the mounting points?

Yes, I know a vendor produces a solid billet aluminum bushings for the Camaro. Trying to figure out if they will fit the larger eLSD housing. My guess would be yes, checking if anyone knows...

So, I know all about the bushings in the upper and lower control arms and the rear cradle bushings.
But what does adding stiffer bushings to the E-diff. give you?

I have felt no hop in the 1LE yet, then again I haven't been roasting the rear tires either.

Thinking less differential movement in the cradle may improve how the car responds on and off throttle. I'm going to solid cradle bushings, good time to upgrade to the eLSD bushings while the cradle's out of the car. |

So far I only know of one other person on the forum who has done this upgrade. It will be nice to have a few more of us with this upgrade and compare with each other.

Just ordered the solid 1le cradle bushings today. From what I'm reading billet cradle bushings don't impact ride comfort at all. Looking at adjustable toe rods for the back as well. Would like to be able to rolling burnout and not worry about the back causing out of control.

If they're anything like BMW solid bushings they will NOT impact ride quality, but improve rear end feel and power delivery. Solid diff bushings will drive 99% of people nuts as it introduces some gear noise. For anyone driving their car on the street, i would not recommend solid diff bushings. Maybe a hard poly, but solid will drive ya nuts. Both my E90 and E46 m3's had solid diff bushings and the sounds those cars made were quite alarming. |

The 1LE is SOOOOO much more of a complete car than my M3 ever was, but if I have one complaint about my 1LE, it is the rear-end side movement when doing any aggressive lane changes or any kind of transition maneuvers, the rear-end moves around way too much back there, enough that is requires steering corrections to keep a line and makes the car feel a little unstable and not very precise feeling. Now to be fair, I have no clue what the stock factory alignment looks like and I have heard they can be pretty far off from the factory. So I have no clue if the rear-end movement is being caused from the cradle bushing deflection or a bad alignment, but in either case, I will be having the track alignment settings done after the solid cradle bushing install is done. The 12th can not get here fast enough.

Solid bushings for the eLSD don't sound like a good idea. I may go with a eLSD bushing lockout kit if they fit I sent an e-mail to a vendor...

I did just get a track alignment done (-2.4 f / -1.6 r camber) and it makes a difference. Turn-in feels sharper and it's even more planted. First track day is in 3 weeks, can't wait to get it on the track.

Yeah, i wouldn’t. Even in my m3 race car they drove me bats, super loud, louder than the race exhaust that was on there. And that was a brand new set of gears.
