With the response given from the OP after trying to help, its obvious he has no idea about high-end plastic trailers. That 22ft plastic is over $30K.....

JIMGlow is the standard and the Bentley of enclosed trailers.

LOL. I'm not shopping for a trailer. So although I appreciate any helpful suggestions, I'm not quite sure how buying a new trailer addresses the question at hand. As to my knowledge base, since I sell trailers and currently own a full aluminum 24ft trailer, I think I have a cursory idea of whats available in the trailer market.

As to "Jimglo", I suspect trailers much like anything else are subject to personal preference. Just because some niche manufacture charges $30K+ doesn't quantify high end or any standard of excellence in my mind.

As I stated before, I have NO interest in a trailer constructed with composite wall panels. Nor do I have any interest in a car hauler utilizing 1960's, "Leave It To Beaver" garage door springs flopping around on the wall to control the ramp door..

If you consider THAT the Bentley of car trailers, then have at it. I'll pass........

With the shipping blocks installed on the front springs you'll have no problem at all. When I picked up mine a couple weeks ago I used the Race Ramps and just raised up my trailer tongue and had no problems at all.

Sorry, did not realize that you sell trailers versus being an owner looking for a trailer. Maybe you can help me then, since like you I own a 2016 24ft enclosed aluminum trailer and at every track event I have at least 5 trailer enthusiasts asking me about the manufacture of my trailer. Feel like the paparazzi is at the track with all the pictures they are taking.

The issue is that they never seem to come up for sale, and if they do they sell within hours. If you have contacts that have current Jimglo enclosed trailers for sale, I have about 5 potential trailer owners ready to strike a check. Could be a great commission check for you and finders fee for me....

Just PM me...Variety is the spice of life.

Happy Holidays...

Again, I have NO idea why you would think I was looking for a trailer, particularly when I listed my ramp dimensions relative to loading it.

Yours is a no-brainer based on how low that beaver tail is. Mine is like the one below. The door height at the hinge is 15" with the tongue jack lifted a couple inches from level. Much more than that and I'm raising the beaver tail too much. Also, if I swap the ramp bumpers from 2" to 4" I can get the approach angle to about 9 degrees. As it sits i'm sure the spliter would drag.

Which is why a few of us suggested the race ramp trailer extensions.

Thanks, but as I originally stated:

"I do NOT want to get foam type ramp extensions like race ramps or similar and want to limit or eliminate any wood planking. If I have to extend my ramp, I'll get some aluminum extension ramps. I just need to confirm whether I do or don't without the advantage of having a car to look at."

Holly crap dude, he already apologized. I've never seen so many rude responses to people legitimately just trying to help.

Oh, which would those be exactly? I think in all cases, despite the response either having nothing to do with the question at hand or a solution stated that we have no interest in, they were thanked. Despite being called a dumbass because I apparently have no interest in his favorite trailer. AND, despite the explanation he STILL thinks I was shopping for a trailer.

I do NOT want to get foam type ramp extensions like race ramps or similar and want to limit or eliminate and wood planking. If I have to extend my ramp, I'll get some aluminum extension ramps. I just need to confirm whether I do or don't without the advantage of having a car to look at.

The ramp door is 7ft long and sits just under 17" at the hinge. The door drops down and sits at 5" at the end where there is a 24" transition plate. So total door length is 9ft long. I can likely raise the tongue to reduce the 17" hinge height.

Anyone have some pics / dimensions of their current setup?

Thanks in advance...

Whats your point exactly genius? I was clearly quoting my ORIGINAL post in which I noted I had no interest in that style ramp and THANKED HIM no less. In the post regarding strapping, I reiterated that the issue was getting the car in the trailer safely and not strapping it down at this point..

Going forward, how should we all post so as not to TRIGGER you out of your safe space?
