Yeah I don’t care for the heat. Fall is my favorite season. It’s just never long enough here in Memphis.

And I will be mia for awhile. I’m having to go overnights due to remodel of my workplace. Joy.

To my surprise the original associate I chatted with call me today, and informed me I AM eligible for the portfolio and should receive it in a few weeks.
Pleasant surprise when I arrived home this evening, flat fifty cardboard box was on the front porch.

Build date: February 17, 2017 (02172017). I'm into numbers, kind of a cool build date.
Production sequence: 5,008.

Yeah overnights start tomorrow. Staying up late tonight to hopefully get adjusted. Joys of being the manager. The rest of my staff gets normal shifts. I get to make sure we keep their disruptions to a minimum as well as legally I have to be there due to HIPAA laws.

That's a great price. I paid $335 for mine.

Good luck!

Checking in while working overnight.

Agreed that is a great price for a set of backups or someone wanting to add/replace their non 50th ones.

On the plus side: no apparent hardware failure.

On the minus side: I will have to rely on the service department to find and correct what appears to be an intermittent software glitch. Mentally preparing myself for a round or two of "no trouble found" (as opposed to trouble not found).
UPDATE:

Just got off the phone with the service advisor. I took the car in on Tuesday. First thing they noticed is one of my rear tires has a broken steel belt. Nice bubble where sidewall meets tread. I've had this before on a front tire. So, they ordered a new tire. This will be my 4th replacement via the Tire & Wheel Warranty I purchased (Post #5383 in this thread --> https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showt...ranty&page=385 ). It's almost like getting a complete set replaced under warranty, except one of the fronts was replaced twice and one of the rears is still original equipment (for now).

He is saying that it is possible that eccentricities in the pavement might have been exaggerated by the tire condition. He also said no codes were set That seems odd to me.

So, now they're just waiting for the tire to come in. He thought it would be in yesterday, but is pretty sure it'll be in today. I asked him to see if there were any software updates for MRC while they wait for the tire to show up and he committed to doing that. Probably won't get it back until tomorrow, since I'm going to the Lions / Browns game right after work.

Good news so far. And let us know if any MRC updates. Curious if I need to schedule time with my dealer. And these nights are messing with me. Just woke up.

Just received the Oakley's I ordered to match the car. The orange is a bit washed out in the photo by the wonderful fluorescent lights in my office. I even had the lens etched with F1FTY! Name: 50 Glasses1.jpg
