Had my Borla cat-back (60606 & 11921) installed today and I must say these video sound clips you see do not do the sound justice.Off with the old and on with the new. The first start up....WOW is all I can say. Love the tone, no drone on the interstate. Very happy with out come.

Is the 60606 from primary cats all the way to axle back mufflers, whether OEM or Borla, corsa, etc.? In other words, 60606 + cat back from Borla would be too much pipe? Thanks!

Looks like it shaves some weight off too. Anyone know the weight difference?

a little bit of difference...not huge. I didn't weigh the two mid sections.

3" or 2.75"

I'm getting lost here. What do I need to run from my Kooks headers back to my Corsa Axleback? I don't want 2.75. I need a 3" and would a 3" even work? I'd love to get rid of that crap in the middle, but would prefer a 3" X pipe.

I have the opposite problem.
Bought Speed Engineering Mid pipe X Pipe to replace the factory mid section.
It is 3" , but made for someone doing headers , and not fit up to the factory Catback .

Neither the Corsa X pipe or Borla 60606 X pipe would work very well. For one, they're both 2.75" so that doesn't align with your goal. And for two, they're designed to bolt to the back of the primary cats which have staggered connection points with different connections on each side as you can see from the above whereas your Headers dump out in a much different location so, Kooks X pipe is your only option and Matt and his guys can figure out how to attach it to the back, it should relatively bolt right up. If you call Kooks, they may even have a recommendation on clamp/reducer or they may have their own.

Will what IndyBlue just posted up work? Cus for $150 shit. It's 3". It's just a matter of getting it to align. I wonder how much the Kooks is. I'll look it up.

Yeah they make it and I know at least one person already running it. But it's BRAND new, less than a month. I don't think it's on their site yet. If you call them I believe they can ship one to you. I'll look when I get a sec.

Installed Borla mid pipe 60606 today with stock muffler.

That was another very informative post. I have read everything I can find on the exhaust posts and would like to do the same setup that Stephen12ZL1 has done here, but like Can'tHave2MuchHP I do not want to cut up my original exhaust system.
How do the original pipes fit into the suit case? Is their a connection near the suit case or is it all one piece?

It's all one piece. So you will have to cut a measured distance away from the suitcase muffler, directions will show you. If you don't want to cut, you'll have to order either an Axle Back from Borla or Corsa.
