Smile New to the 1LE group

Well I pulled the trigger and got myself a 2018 Hyper Blue 2SS 1LE with PDR from the one and only Becky! Having them install the illuminate black bowtie, red knee bolsters and red seat belts before I pick it up. Also, having Xpel wrap on the whole front clip, rockers and around rear wheels. Plus ceramic coat the whole vehicle. I even ordered the skip shift eliminator already.

I plan to do first oil change at 500 miles. Then do oil and diff change at 1500 miles. Anything else I should make sure I do? I dont plan to track it until next year

It collects most of the oil that would otherwise go into the intake manifold. My car stopped smelling like burning oil after I put one on. They can void your warranty though. So take it off if you have engine problems before you go to the dealer. Might take all of 20 minutes to do.

No issues without a catch can here. Just an fyi.
Id install rock guards and permanent lift pucks from zl1addons. Even tho you do not plan to track it just yet id check the alignment to ensure it is all up to spec. Sometimes these cars leave factory with really messed up alignments incl excessive toe etc. Defo worth checking imo.

Edit: and welcome to the family!

I still need rock guards even if I have Xpel along the entire rocker and around rear wheels?

Congrats man...beautiful car!

I think everybody's covered what you should do when you first get the car...and smart man for getting the skip-shift eliminator first.

Enjoy your new beauty!

Discussing a catch can is like talking politics or religion. LMAO.

Yes, there's going to be enough gravel flying to ding up the Xpel. These tires are sticky!

Do you recommend the standard or deluxe? Will the deluxe look big and ugly? Front and rears necessary?

I have them on mine and they don't look ugly. I also have the RPI Design ZL1 style side skirts for extra protection. This should eliminate rock chips.

Congrats on the new ride and great color, but those skip shift eliminators are a complete waste of money...just step on the go pedal and it's gone!
