Weapon X website says these aren't for sale in California, no CARB compliance. Since when are axle back mufflers required to meet CARB? I've never see a muffler with a CARB #. Seems odd!

what did you video with?

I filmed that with a Canon T7i and 18-55mm kit lens. It's an awesome camera, but I need to get a lot more familiar with it. Mainly bought to take some good pics of my daughter.

ZL1 1LE w manual pulling 2000 rpms at 80mph = grounds for drone! Or is it ? Sure you can manually select gear to match mtx rev range at high way speeds.

Is there anyone out there with a ZLE that has this axle back system installed to the factory exhaust? If so, perhaps they could advise re: any Drone at freeway speeds. The different 6th gear between the 6M in the standard ZL1 vs. the ZLE would also cause a different engine speed/possible drone, which rules out the ZL1 6M as a comparative.

Any drone would be a factor for me in my selection. As it is, with my fuse pulled on the stock suitcase, I have ok sound, IMO, and no drone. I really like the sound of this axle back, and the cost factor, compared to all the other systems I've looked at. As such, I'm considering it....

Any ZLE's that have this system please speak out.

That is regular price. I caught this bad boy on sale. I thought I mentioned it somewhere in this thread but maybe not. It still can be had for below $750 though, I think. Might have to check around a little.

Looks like this is a good option. But why go this route over MBRP axleback? Which is about $200 less? These are two low cost options I'd consider if wanting/or not caring about giving up the NPP feature.

Agreed - It sounds really nice.
As far as the look - that looks very close to stock, I like that it’s not a big departure from the original look of the rear of the ZL1.
