I have been searching this for days now! I need s front skinny set and I am not having much luck! I think it needs to be an 18 inch rim but the only options I am seeing for tires are a 26 inch and a 28 inch tall tire. I am leaning toward the 28 inch M/T Sportsman S/R radial on a race star 18x5 inch rim... we shall see!!

What worries me about the 26 inch compared to the 28 is the load rating of the tire, the 26 is 980lbs and the 28 is 1650lbs. not sure if thats a problem or not?

Stock tires faster than a et street?

Do you have track times?
Yep. I did 1.7 60 foots on both stock tires and et streets. I also lost mph on the mt's. They felt very loose in the top end like I was going to lose control of the car. They were ok at the track, but garbage on the street. They wore out in a month because they were spinning everywhere I went. Who knows, maybe I got a bad batch, but they were awful.

cant run a radial with the stock run flat up front - thats why it felt loose

If we're talking about a ZL1 like I think we are, we don't have run flat tires. A loose feeling up top could be from running too much air in the rear tires.

Probably should be running 29psi on the street
It’s a drag tire it’s gonna feel a little soft in the back

Did the r888r cut a better 60’?

I run the toyos and they feel better than my ET street r's as well, this is all on the street. Have yet to get it to the track.

yes zl1, vette, this is a well known issue. its the difference in sidewall that will make these cars feel unstable at high speeds with that tire combo

What psi are you all running in the 1/4 with the stock tires? I’m getting way too much spin keeping them at 32psi.

Pretty happy with the results! Considering we had temps. around 86+ and a 15-20mph headwind!

Thanks for the tips! Worked out very well... With a Roto Fab cai and a ported TB I think the 10.9 is easily feasible.

P.S I'm trying to link my timeslip in the post but can't idk how to link my pic via a URL
1.7 great launch... You should feel good about that run.
