Questions about Kooks longtubes!

So I installed Kooks long tube headers on my 2018 Camaro 1LE. It hasn’t been tuned just yet!... was just wondering what kind of tune I should do? Currently the CEL is on. Will it ruin my car without a tune?

Try a local speed shop for a dyno tune or contact EFI Tuning for a remote tune. If u go a long period of time without a tune damage may occur.

You could always hit up Brett from Pray Performance. He lurks on this page quite often. I’m sure you’ll get very familiar with him and his accomplishments on here.

If you wanted to get a custom Dyno tune We are located In northern Delaware.

you send your stock tune and tells what your mods are. He sends one back and you upload it to your car and wa lah magic!

having HPTuners tool, so the tuner would send you the file and youd use HPTuners to upload it.

How much is the hand held tuner and where can I buy it? I’m new to the performance mods world.

any of these vendors sites out there, id have to do some searching to find it, i'm sure the ngauge would work for you, https://jannettyracing.com/collectio...ge-gm-vehicles but either way this is all your call, look around your area for some reputable dealers, when i did my headers and got the CEL i was like "might as well tune for e85 and got the flex fuel sensor kit as well. i've had 2 different tuners so far, the first just wasnn't doing anything right, i spent more time at the shop then i did driving the car.

Handheld tuner might cost from $400 up

Why not call RPM and get it dyno tuned by them? You make the appointment, drive to them. They put the car in the dyno and don't take it off till it is tuned correctly. They are in Delaware and it does not look like it would be a long drive for you. They do mostly GM builds. Tons of videos on line. That is who I would use if I was closer to them.
