Wheel to wheel creaking / Brakes noisy.

Just around 820 miles on my Camaro.

Yesterday decided, while parked, count the wheel to wheel (steering wheel all the way to the right then all the way to left).

Wasn't done in a jerky fashion, but once it reached full turn, there was quite a loud creaking sound.

Went all the way to the left, same thing.

Can't say I have heard this on any previous vehicle owned.

From there took a short drive and the speed was low, when engaging the brakes the front ones gave quite a sound, this happened again and again.

Thoughts?

Stock brake pads are a bit noisey, Especially when transitioning from stop and slow roll and vice versa. Not sure about the turns, but personally I would not do the turn test when stationary, it is rough on the tires and it isn't doing the power steering any good. Not a big deal, but I wouldn't do it myself.

Don't turn the steering wheel lock to lock when the car is not rolling! It puts a huge load on all the steering gear and needlessly abrades the tires.
