A10: Violent jolt.

So Ive mentioned how smooth this tranny is but today Ive experienced a somewhat uncomfortable and worrysome jolt forward. I was going an about even 40mph in track mode and traction off, then decided to mash the gas almost all the way and shifted up abruptly around 4.5k and when I did that the car jumped forward and made a thud sound like it just popped into the next gear without any clutching. Is that normal?

Not sure if OP is trolling or not but the hard up shift happens in my car on the track as well.

Badgerbimmer yeah this time it was rough. I hope I am not damaging anything. So far I have been pushing the car but very smoothly and staying below 5k.
