Dumb tire question
Forgive me if this is a stupid question but I bought ZL1-1LE sized wheels for a None-1LE ZL1, I want to run RE71R for autoX. The widest size offered is 305/30R19" and it does say the widest wheel it can be installed on is 11.5" well my wheel is 12" wide. Is it stupid to even think about installing it?
I want a tire with wear rating above 200 in 315, not many choices the only one I have seen is the Potenza S007A. Brand new tire from them and I cant find any reviews on that tire. Thank you.

From what I've seen 295 is the smallest size tire to run, 305 on 12" wheel is small but not overly so. It will depend on the maker. MPSS were a little wider so 305 was fine on a 12".
You can have it mounted and see if the sidewall meets the rim or is overly stretched in or not.
