SHIPPED YESTERDAY FROM SUMMIT RACING ORDERED 5/25/18. INSTALL NEXT WEEK . HOPE IT WAS WORTH THE WAIT.

I ordered mine in April and just received it at the end of last week. I had mine installed on the 25th along with the 3" secondary cat delete kit....definitely great sound and brings a smile to my face. Worth the wait but f- Borla and their build time. I had the same issue with my system on the SS and still had problems with the system- bad valves, leaks, etc.

The new ZL setup, so far so good

I only had to wait a week. Orderd 06/02 & received it (2) weeks later. I looked at Summit but their prices were too high. I paid $1667 shipped from ColoradoSpeed

$1789 now. Damn. I heard eight people from the forms bought from them. Rumor has it they got in trouble as they were not suppose advertise under a certain price. Call them or e-mail them.

That is a bold statement. Borla designed to use this system with the NPP valves. If you pull the fuse there will be a negative effect of some time type. You are the first person I have seen to post a negative comment about Borla

Borla has always been known for drone ever since the Atak first came out. NPP may be the ticket now days so that's good to hear.

I can tell you with my setup (Secondary Cat Delete, 3" pipes, 3" X Pipe, Atak NPP Exhaust, ALL WELDED, No Clamps), there is ZERO DRONE AT ALL. NONE!!!

See the video on the for Borla site comparing stock, atal and St type exhaust and the conspicuous listing that there is 0 drone at any rpm speed or gear I also spoke directly to borla. The borla rap stated that be known drone technology has been at any fact for at least a couple years at borla

1996 Z28, 2010 SS, 2016 SS, and as soon as the carbon tips come out my 17 Zl1 it will have them, this would be set #4 never had any issues yet.. I'll be sure to forward this to Lisa mr Drone so your kit can be sent off and replaced.

And yes I owned in 2011, it droned horribly and I never went back. So maybe I'll check it out again now.

Hey vauge guy i’m skeptical when you drive a SS & you are posting about a system that was designed exclusively for 17/18 ZL1. Thank you for your overwhelming contribution in a ZL1 forum. You owned a 2011 w/ Borla. Did you simply weld in a set of mufflers?

On my old 14 SS 1LE i repacked the NPP with Borla & I did not occur any drone. There are people who simply weld in mufflers and there are people who buy exhaust systems.
